ok im having trouble getting my project car to run, its a fresh engine and all the prior equiptment has been sitting for two years. so where im at now is the engine runs (poorly) ive managed to time it within two degrees of the stock rating of 7degrees btdc. ive ohmed out my coil pack and everything was within spec. the problem im having is that the car runs very rich and fouls out plugs within minutes of running. im just running out of ideas and areas to attack to find a culpret. any ideas or if anyone has had this problem before any advice would be greatly appreciatted.

There's not a whole lot of things that can cause fuel to dump. Check for boost leaks and firing order. It has the right FPR, and correct fuel press? When I first got my car it was bastardized and had a leaky FPR/vac hose and half of the J pipe gasket missing(among millions of other issues), it fouled a set of plugs after starting and sputtering then stalling.

it could possibley be the injectors, all the gaskets and seals in the engine are new and im fairly sure the vacuum is right, i taped and marked everything before i removed it. just to double check could someone post a pic of the vacuum line coming off the fpr and where it goes to. i double checked all the ignition and the coil packs ohm out within spec and the fuel system has 40psi and about 20oz a min,(the ghetto way of checking LOL)

how exactly would you check to see if the injector is opening? i can use a noid light to see if its triggered but how would i actuallly see it work?

If you can get ahold of a Chasis Ear or a stethascope you can hear it. There should be a "click" and a "ting" when the injector opens and closes. You can compare all of them while a friend cranks the engine.
