Im excited, I talked to jeff and my fuel trim issues should be nill here soon:rocks: oh and the added power/ driveability should feel nice as well. I have had my 2g mas/550's installed and its been giving me a headache....trims have been maxed out lean....had to turn base fuel pressure up to almost 60 to get them to chill out and at that fuel pressure it runs like absolute dog snot performance wise. So I set it to 42 and kept my boost on wastegate pressure (still creeps to almost 18) and kept my eye on knock and my o2 voltage was .83 (not sure how acceptable that would be)..car has done ok at wot..but normal everyday driving I could feel the car struggling through the rpms because the tune is so far out. Just thought I wold share my experience with the 2g mas/550 combo....Ill let yall know my results but I have faith that I will be nothing but happy with it tuned and running about 20psi:hellyeah:

Yeah I was hoping to be able to tune it out myself (whether rich or lean) if they fell close enough but I just barely find a happy medium ever and it changes from day to day. I guess that was the gamble I took. I had the option of tryin to throw my automatic ecu which in turn would richen it up into the car. But i said its time to quit the backyard bullshit and get something from someone who knows these ecu's. A measly 9.6 at the 1/8 track down here (was lifting because of knock/boost creep all while not being able to get a healthy amount of boost on the line with my 14b) motivated me quite a bit.

I see light at the end of the tunnel for all that:pray:

I just got my Stage 3 chip from Jeff in the mail today, great guy:thumb:

Yeah I can tell Jeff is a good guy. Oh and did I mention the car ate a total of 3 o2 sensors? Thank god for that 1 year warranty.

i would hate to see what your pistons a valves look like ROFL....hot spots city :p

I had a similar issue. It ended up being a bad fuel pressure gauge. It took me what I thought was 50psi base fuel pressure to even out my fuel trims even after the keydiver chip set for my 680's and 2g maf. When I put in a new fuel pressure gauge that 50psi my old gauge was reading was really only 42psi on the brand new gauge. So you can do the math and get a rough idea what my base fuel pressure really was when I had it set the stock 38psi. This is actually my second fuel pressure gauge that went bad on me over the last few years. Its just a though and something worth looking into.

Good Luck

Yeah im pretty sure its not a fp gauge issue. Good thinking tho. My problems have been figured out I just have to have the time to fix them....fuel pump o ring is bleeding fuel pressure off when i turn my car off leading to hard starts in the morning....and my fuel trim issues are due to exhaust leaks pre turbine....showing my o2 sensor im lean causing it to flip the #### out. :ohdamn: dam stainless turbine gasket:banghead:

A new walbro 255 and fuel filter finally fixed my issue for good since my last post. The fp gauge and correct fuel pressure setting only helped temporarily then the dying pump started running out of steam under the added fuel pressure and the knock and fuel trims were wacked out again. I'm running 21psi of boost now with 0 knock and fuel trims are all near perfect.

I too though my fuel pump o ring was leaking so I cut off the bell and used fuel line and hose clamps to attach the pump to the sending unit. It didn't help me at all. I have a exhaust leak pre turbine as well that I couldn't fix completely (broken exhaust manifold stud) but I did make it a lot better with a new composite gasket and still no luck with the trims. Also ever since I put in my Aeromotive afpr I've had hard starting problems after the car sits for a while. I emailed aeromotive and one of there reps told me this is normal and there regulators aren't required to hold pressure after the car is shut down. What BS I thought but I guess its pretty common. You seem to be on the same track I was on before I finally fixed my issue.

is your fuel trims still wacked out even after the chip install your saying?

Correct the chip did nothing for my fuel trims. The new fuel pump and filter is what fixed both my trims and knock issues. And of course the new fuel pressure gauge helped set the fp correctly which also helped. Now that the pump is supplying the amount of fuel its supposed to the chip is able to do its job and compensate for my 680's and 2g maf with the safc zeroed out and keep the trims near perfect.

Good luck

I know first hand how frustrating these issues are.
