MAFT genII question

just about to finish up doing a MAFT gen II install and was just had a couple of questions. i would like a couple of opinions to maybe help push me to make a decision for the final upgrade path. right now i have an EVO3 16G, EVO8 injectors, mild port and polish, and a full exhaust with out cat. i originally had an e-manage in the car that worked pretty good and i have herd that people use an AFC of one type or another to fine tune the base MAFT's but it doesn't seem like some thing i need with the gen II or should i keep the e-manage in for that purpose. i am debating to either up grade injectors later to either 650's or 750's or taking advantage of the e-manages other abilities to run additional injectors and adjust timing. i have my eye on an EVO8 ecu at the moment as a possible upgrade now that it seems that someone has gotten there car running good with one, and DSMlink is a bit out of my price range.

Use the emanage for tuning the maf-t just to run the gm maf. I would keep all settings to zero on the maft and use only emanage. You need to get th support tool, or eo1 controller to tune it though and the timing harness is needed for it to work great.

Emanage is a lot more capable than people think. The timing and afr tuning is a lot better than dsmlink.
