93 - 90 harness. /hELp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok so heres the deal i have a 1993 awd talon and my wire harness about started on fire. It melted a wire that goes to the oxy sensor all the way back close to the ecu. I thaught about just pulling away the wire covers and spliceing in a new wire for it but i got lookin closer and it melted a bunch of wires together when the one went. , I have a parts car a 1990gsx that i took the wiring harness out off but when i went to put it on my 93 the throttle body clips didnt plug in and the igniter and coil pack don't plug in aloso there is one by the ecu that dident plug in. so can i use the plugs off of my 93 harness and make it work some how? if so what all do i have to change.? Thanks !

The TPS sensor for the throttle body can just be rewired for which ever sensor you need, the wires are the same color on both harnesses for the TPS connector and both sensors work identical. The ignition system is wired very different for 90 cars, I wrote this article a couple of days ago maybe you can figure out how you need to re wire it to retain your 93 coil and power transitor.
