Meth and Safc Questions

I have a few questions guys. Can i run meth safely with just an afc? I read somewhere on here that the only way to tune for meth is if you have dsmlink so you can control when the meth is actually sprayed? Is this false info?

Im also wondering if it ould be safe running meth with 550 injectors at 18psi. Im running 18psi on a 16g right now on the 550s self tuned, fine. If i ran meth wouldnt it help me lower my idc's because i could lean it out more?

Thanks all.

P.S. I searched for the afc info and all i found is one thread about it and it didnt seem like the info was correct.

Yes, you can run MeOH injection with the SAFC and a logger. I did it for about 6 months before picking up DSMLink. The system is self actuated, meaning that the pump is triggered by boost pressure. Just make sure you pick up a clogged nozzle detector when you purchase the kit.

Your IDC's will drop becuase you can run a much leaner mixture when injecting meth. I'm in the range of 11.5:1 - 11.8:1 with 17 degrees of advance by redline with no knock. I really need to finish my tune.

Teh down fall is you'de have to run even more on teh -/negative correction in teh high since so much less IDC will be used at WOT.. This could put you in a dangerously high timing map..
some one correct me if i'm wrong
