1G-specific Ostrich bin?

I am using this page to make a bin just to start with. I will be using ds-map soon but I want something till then. What should I choose from the drop down for my dead times if I have FIC 750's? Is there a better way to make a chip than this page, which is very easy? I was also wondering what can I use to load the bin onto the ostrich, Tuner Pro? or anything else?

Thanks

From the options on that page, use deadtime 288.
That's the easiest place to get a new bin.
If you want to add more detailed mods to your eproms, go to moates.net and get BURN1, it's only $85. Then check out hwnd.org - 1G DSM EPROM Editing

The hwnd.org site has the most detail. But you'll need a hex editor and a bit of time searching through hex. If you want the extended maps, I'd use the hwnd.org instructions with winhex(free hex editor) on a bin from that website you posted with the maf hz range doubled. Then from there, use tunerpro to do all your other editing. It's free. Those bins from that site are 32K bins luckily. You will need the 32K .xdf (free definition file) for tunerpro plus the free tunerpro software. It also happens to be the definition file with the most options already setup. The common .xdf doesn't have an option to double the maf hz or extend the timing/fuel tables. It also doesn't have nlts, studderbox, octane reset, or injector pulsewidth cap removal.

Of course, you can modify the tunerpro .xdf to do all of that if you do your homework.
