PLX SM AFR Wideband Installation (need help)

I just picked up an SM AFR and am a little confused as to where I should splice into the ignition for power. I removed the steering column shroud but was unable to determine where to splice in. Can I run the supplied wires through the firewall and connect to ignition in the engine bay somewhere?

As always, any help is greatly appreciated.

I just spliced mine right into the cig light power wires.

I spliced mine into the main power at the stereo.
