Hardwiring GM MAF to 2g Harness

Hi, I will soon be buying a Gen 2 MAFT setup for my 2g, but my 2g MAF harness is shot, and I would like to just hardwire the 3-wire GM MAF to the 2g wiring instead of having to buy a new 2g MAF harness. Is there a tutorial anywhere that shows how to do this? I searched, but could only find 1g wiring diagrams and no information on the GM MAF wiring. Thanks.

I dont know of a tutorial i hardwired mine to my wire harness, i just cut and soldered them. Not sure on this one.

Well I mean what wires would go where from the 2g MAF wiring to the GM 3-wire wiring.. Such as "connect the pink and red wires from the 2g to the blue wire on the GM," and "connect black and green wires from 2g to blue/white stripe on the GM" etc. Because I know the 2g MAF harness has alot more wires than 3.

The only thing you need to hardwire is your maf wires to the maft harness. The Maft will have the plug for GM maf.

Alright, this is what I've gathered..

IN THE ENGINE BAY, Coming from the factory 2g MAF wiring and going to the GM MAF sensor, the wiring goes like this:
Red (12v) to Pink
Black (ground) to Black
Blue/Yellow (MAF Signal) to Yellow

Then the others are left alone until you splice them by the ECU. Correct?

Okay, I went ahead and ordered a generic 3-wire GM harness to save some money, since I figured out the correct wiring.

Now I have a new problem: The digitizer on the Palm I use for my logger died, and I now have to wait for a new one to come in. Is there any safe way to run the MAFT G2 without a logger? Like a set of settings for the factory 450's?

Yea if you leave it set to zero it will be setup for your stock injectors.
