fuel line ends

Will fuel hose ends such as this one from earl's: http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=9759 work on normal rubber fuel injection hose? I only see braided ss lines recommended, but I want something a little cheaper.

No it will not work. Look for Earls super stock series if you want a press-on AN fitting.
