Hacked A/F Auto Meter

I know everyone preffers wide band gauges, but a long while back I got a WOT hacked A/F gauge from autometer. During normal acceleration, It's showing about 3-4 bars into rich. I'd like to know if that is normal or is there any other, right way to fix this. Honestly my school loan is killing me and don't want to neglect the car and damage it either. Let me know if I can fix this otherwise, I will have to starve to get the right setup. Thanks Guys!!

That is normal. All cars run richer during accerlation than during cruise. Rich doesn't do damage, lean does.
