Walbro fuel pump question...

I just got my new Walbro 255hp fuel pump, and I was wondering if I need the install kit for the 2g's because all that came with mine was a new filter and some black rubber thing, and all the sites I search show a wiring harness and stuff. If I need it can someone tell me where I coudl purchase it.

The Walbro 255 is a direct replacement for the stop pump. Follow the directions on Vfaq.com

you don't need the wiring harness. you can splice the wires together & then use shrink wrap (like i did). the black rubber (can cozy) looking thing is a noise supressor & i would recommend using it. i didn't & mine wines like a hethan.
