Rev Tuning (STFT) 150hz
-After you are done with idle tuning, rev the engine and keep it at the 150 Hz level.
-Watch your STFT's for needed adjustments.
-If STFT fuel trims are positive, add air at the 150 Hz point in the airflow table.
-If STFT fuel trims are negative, subtract air at the 150 Hz point in the airflow table.
-Adjust the airflow 1% for each 1% fuel trims are adjusting fuel.
EXAMPLE: If STFT’s are bouncing between +14% and +16%, add +15% to the 150 Hz slider in the airflow table. Repeat until you are happy.

anyone know what the 150 hz level is?

i was just curious as to what he was talking about with rev tune. ive used two other base tuning guides and so far none have worked like theyve said. one being monitor LTFT at cruise. if its a positive % increase. neg decrease. monitor STFT at idle. adjust same as LTFT. another was on this webpage http://www.dsmlink.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16236
not saying its inaccurate....it just didnt work for me. everything is good. base timing, no boost/exhaust leaks, fuel pressure, ect. just wasnt working out.

the link to the tuning guide or the guide in the first post?

First, you are adjusting the airflow sliders that correspond to the Hz range you are trying to dial in correct? Just making sure your not messing with the fuel sliders. Those are 2 ways to dial in your mas or maft that work well. You can only dial in low Hz ranges with a rev tune, like 50 and 150hz as they are telling you. So log MafRaw and stft, rev the car till you see 150hz on the log. If the stft is positive you need to move the 150hz slider positive to bring the stft down and just the opposite if you are trying to go the other way with the fuel trims.

No log posted, why not post over on the dsmlink boards? If you have already, i must have missed it.
