Review of Stage 3 Keydiver Chip
Today I recieved my eprom ecu and stage 3 keydiver chip. I was going to wait til this weekend to install that and my injectors, but I got impatient. It ended up only taking 50 minutes to do swap both.
As far as customer service and shipping, it was top notch. It got here in 2 buisness days. There were a couple problems on my be-half but he kept communication everyday.
After the install, there were no problems at all, the car fired right up and idled even better, even with 750's installed now. I did a couple Wot's just through first and 2nd and the car felt a lot smoother. Before it was kinda notchy in a few spots, but now it is a smooth climb all through the rpm's.
I will try and do a couple logs tonight, just to see what my timing curve looks like.

Jeff is a good guy and has great customer service. When I installed my chip with 850cc injectors the car fired right up on the first try and idled like stock 450's. I have yet to log a pull, but the car feels good. My stock boost gauge is set to monitor knock and showed a little knock in 4th gear at 5500rpm, but there are other issues unrelated to the chip that's causing that, ie boost leaks.
I highly reccomend DSM Chips.

Ya i have a few boost leaks, actually one in my throttle body gasket. Im fixing that this weekend. I forgot to mention that it really seems to have a lot better throttle response to. Also my boost gauge was no moving at all, so I gues i have no knock.

Are you still on the stock turbo with 750s?

Downside of a second gear log is that 2nd goes by so fast... heh. What are you using to log with?

The timing looks good after about 5500, but before there you're going to have to do some fine tuning.
A boost leak will cause the car to run rich. Get it fixed and it'll run considerably better.
