Placing injectors in the intake charge pipe?

I'm in the middle of finishing up my car for the '07 season. I am wanting to run E98 with out and IC, but if the intake charge can't reach desirable temps I'll start looking at other alternatives.

On John Shepard's car there are two injectors in his intake pipe. I am wanting to run a similar set up. Shearer Fab makes the injector bungs and hats with a 1/8" NPT for injector supply and placement. So the hardware of the matter is not a issue at all. I am running the PnP 1310 EMS in my 2g DSM. In the Application Notes supplied with the EMS it is stated that there are four extra injector divers, but there are six spare injector divers listed in the pinout.

My question is:
How do I configure injectors 9 and 10 to administer a pulse width? Or should I get the peak hold driver, and have injector 9 come on line @ "X" amount of boost and injector ten at "2X"? Can I do this with the configure outputs menu?

My mods are as follows:
2.3 Stoker Motor
10:1 compression
JM Fab Sheet Metal intake manifold flanged for 90mm throttle body, and 4 injector bungs in the manifold
RC 1000cc primaries
FIC 1600cc secondaries
GT4202RV
Shearer Topmount header
Brian Crower 280 cams
ect.

If anyone needs more info let me know.
 
if you do peak and hold,
are you planning on setting this up so those two injectors are on/off?
I dont think that will work very well if its setup like that,
unless you arent running out of injector at that on point (on the 1000's)



I guess my question is, your running out on the 1000's already?
 
I was at 92% duty cycle on my old 3065. With a GT42R and running ethonal I'll need alot of fuel. that's why I'm running 1600cc as secondarys. As stated above. The injectors in the pipe are not for more fuel, they are for cooling the charge.

Would a dual nozzle water/alky injection set up cool the intake charge enough? I know you are looking to NOT use an intercooler at all so I am not sure. Shep doesn't run an intercooler, but he also runs 100% alky now.

You may have already thought of water injection and it's not an option because it won't work well enough, but I figured I'd throw it out there.

Can I ask why you don't want to run an intercooler?

At one point I considered doing a high boost, sidemount IC, and water/alky injection set up. After some thought though I figured the SMIC would become a bottle neck even if I was cooling the intake charge enough.
