mmcd on palm III not working. saying i need palm software 3.5 os???

Had the same problem. Palm 3.5 OS won't work on a Palm III. They don't offer an upgrade for that PDA. I had to buy a new pda, got one off ebay for $18 shipped. Just look for them, they are out there.

DSMLink. Obviously you have to pay for the system, but the palm version is free in the forums. And it was developed for the Palm IIIc.

I haven't ordered link yet, but I have the IIIc. I can't get the damn thing to sync up to my computer though.

I just need a program that can run on this palm. i think its running 3.0.2 but i am not sure at the moment because i dont have the palm in my hand

Stupid question....

This guy wants to use a logger program for the Palm IIIc, and you tell him to get DSMLink.... $600 program compared to a free logger program?!? At least help him with what he wants... unless DSMLink offers a free logger program.

what are you talking about. my buddy needs a logger. i have a SPAIR palm III not palm IIIc laying around and i just need the software that can be used with it. so that costs me nothing and i dont need a lap top to use it. saving my friend about 600 bucks....
