New to Maft and Dsmlink

I recently purchased the new maft v2.02, 3" gm maf and DSMlink for my 1990 Talon TSI. Do I need to be adjusting any dials/ switches within the translator? I want to tune it using link but, am unsure if I need to setup the translator or can I just install it and go?

You should setup the MAFT for a baseline stock setup. On the DSMLink site you'll find a 1G tuning guide. Follow it, calibrate the airflow in DSMLink, and then you can tune the car.
