ok so i finally get a pocket logger, i log a few short runs, just got it tonight, 1. anyone know how i can view these on my pc and possibly e mail them to someone?

2. what am i actually looking for, timing, knock. o2 voltage i know are the main ones, highest knock i saw was around 24 w/12 degrees of timing @ 5968 rpm and .82 o2 volts at that particular time, the o2 volts got a max of .90and if im reading the log right that was at 43 degrees timing and a 7 knock count @ 6468 rpm. on a 3rd gear pull appx 18 psi boost i got .86 o2 volts,17 timing, knock count of 11, im not expectiong the world, just some basic hints on what im looking for, thanks in advance

I don't have a pocketlogger, but am getting one soon .. I thought there was software on pocketlogger.com that allowed you to import the data to CSV so you can plot in most any spreadsheet program (ie Excel).

Can't help you on #2 as I really don't know, but reading some posts I seem to remember people saying tuning for O2 around 0.85-0.92V and knock in the 6-9 region is acceptable. But that's from memory.

You should probably read through PocketLogger's website a little bit more in their FAQ section. They give some good info on getting started:

I haven't had a chance to try mine out yet, but I'll be writing an article that should help others getting started. Give me a couple weeks.

FYI the 90's read about 0.8 volts lower for some reason. My 90 works best at .86 to .88 volts, and my 92 likes .94 to .96 Before I knew about that I tried to get my 90 up above .94 and I got all kinds of bad signals like really black soot on the exhaust, misfiring, fouled plugs and wondering why a Supra pump didn't seem to flow enough for 55o injectors.

only look at it under wot. your timing should dip initially when you mash the gas and then rise progressively as your rpm rise. the 02 voltage is different from car to car, not just year to year. every sensor reads differently based on age, what it has been exposed to, and other factors. the 02 voltage is only for you, you can't really compare with another persons. timing and knock however can be compared. look for around 23 deg or so at the top of third.
make sure when you log (if you record it), only record rpm, timing, 02voltage, and knock if 1g. also try to get your samples/s as high as possible to give you the best idea of what is going on.
