I dont usually look at this area of the forum... and ya know.. now that i have been reading a little bit... i actually feel dumber then before!! hehe ..i thought i knew a little about tuning a car, and ya know, this was kinda a eye opener!! umm.... i have no idea what you guys are talking about with all of this data logging, a/f ratio numbers, %s of stuff... man. ...wow... i even went to some of the sites and read (like at dsmlink.com and pocketlogger.com) and STILL have no idea what is going on!! uh.... can someone throw me a bone here? I feel a little out of the loop!! hehe.... thanx--

Well... really, all I was planning on getting (at least in the near future) is a s-afc... is it going to be a huge pain to set up?? do i need to have my phd in engineering?? what advantages will it give me? The thing that led me to thinking about it, is the fact that I am planning on getting a turboxs rfl bov that I wont be able to plub back into the intake, and i thought that i could use a s-afc to compensate for running rich between shifts, etc... plus later on down the road it will be nice to tune things a little better.... what do you think?? should i be looking at something else???

I have and RFL and an AFC.the AFC does nothing for venting. Either you have the problams or you don't. They afc will allow you to fine tune your fuel to compensate fot larger injectors,pump,and turbo.

that function will not work with our stye mass air meters.
