Toronto,
I currently have the MAFT and I and wanting to buy dsmlink soon. My question is that will the MAFT still be used when i have the dsmlink or will it no longer be needed. Thanks for anyones help in advanced.

If you wait long enough, the new version of DSMlink might incorporate GM MAF controls in the program :). Then you can sell your MAFT and make out a little ahead. But if you must have it now, yes the maft can be used in conjunction with DSMlink. You have to re-calibrate the MAF sensor though which takes alittle time.

On my 1g it can be a PITA. Its do able, cant wait for DSMlink to incorporate controls. :thumb:

How long will it be for the new version to come out? And also how do i re-calibrate the MAF?

Calibrating MAFs (hacked 1G, Hacked 2G, MAFt) is discussed in detail in the DSMLink forum. You zero out the MAFt in your case and compensate the Hz number within DSMLink. That way you can log accurate airflow numbers as well.

I wouldn't sweat user functions. ECMTuning, Inc. has the best support around. Trust me. Everything will be ok... Even if you get DSMLink now (which I would be too impatient not to, since I know what it is capable of, now that I have it:) ).

Thanks for all your guys help. I have not heard all but good things about dsmlink. Does anyone know when the new version will be released?
