Knock on 9:1 CR using 91 Oct @ 21PSI - h2O Injection Remedy

I am running a 9:1 CR motor with a 50trim, 1000cc injectors and dsmlink. I am having such a hard time tuning with the 91 octane we have here in Cali. I recenlty learned about water/alchol injection and it seems that this is the best solution for my knock problem.

I found this site [ http://www.turbomirage.com/water3.html ] that explains how to set up a Do it yourself Water injection kit for under 200 bux. This is a single stage, 60psi system. I like the price and can easily put this together. Although, would this be sufficent?

I plan on making the most horsepower my 50trim can produce, roughly 450HP if not, 400hp. Do you think that this DIY systems will be adequate?

Also, what is the reason for dual stage water injection kits?

I start to knock around 4K RPM (where the turbo is at full boost) all they way to 7RPM,

Any recommendations, opinions.... I would really appreciate it!

Build the H2O injection or buy a kit from a vendor like CoolingMist. It is worth every bit. I am currently running 25psi on 93 pump gas on a 50 trim with 780cc injectors with "0" ZERO knock all the way to 7000rpm. I have my W/I kit set to activate at 14psi using a 50/50 mix of methenol/water, or windshield washer fluid if its handy and it's working perfectly. My injector duty cycle is down to about 78% and timing peaks at 17-18* by 7000rpm, giving me plenty of room to up the boost for track events and a little race fuel.

Im running the single stage kit from CoolingMist, with the 150psi pump upgrade. So far it has been performing up to the task.
