Tuning problem???, or????????

Sup, well here it is, my car was runnin good after i got it back from my mechanic , he retuned my safc and the car was pullin good through every gear, but my safc got reset and i put all the settings back to where he had them, but my car doesnt seem to be runnin right, even when he tuned it it was still blowing out some black smoke at high rpms, im runnin stock FP and stock injectors , i think i would be better off rippin the safc till i upgrade my fuel setup, as of now its not really doin much, plus i dont burn alot of gas either, i had my plugs gapped at .35 and i regapped them to .40, someone told me to do that cause i was pusing 16psi?, idk i may just go back to .35 cause thats how it ran better, but anyways tell me wutcha guys think i should do, heres exactly what my car is doing

backfires sometimes, black smoke at high rpms, when i take off in any gear from 3-5500rpms it will kinda like sputter and not have full power, its not smooth at all..

Gap your plugs to 0.28-.30

What are your S-AFC settings, considering your stock fuel you are probably better off leaving them at 0.

Your Stock fuel with a 16g at 16psi correct?

I would put them all to 0.

I agree with Canadian but you can also zero out the dec air. That is used for hotwire style maf cars and dont really apply to the karman style mas that the dsm is equipped with. Also, make sure you have the afc set properly. Mas should be set to karman, throttle set with arrow pointing up-right/ and cylinders set to 2.
