New eprom with E-manage

Hey i was wondering if anyone knew if you need to get a diffrent eprom ecu with the greddy e-manage program. I have read that you do have to get a different on with the safc and dsmlink. But havent been able to find out if you do with the greddy E-manage. If you do what year eprom do you need with either of those choices?

I don't know why you would need a different chip when you install a safc. Whoever told you that is mistaken. As for DSM Link, it replaces the eprom chip that is in there.

As far as the e-manage goes, it's a piggyback device just like the s-afc and with that I don't see any reason to change the eprom for that either.

No you dont need a new chip like stated above its a piggy back system which just hacks into your stock ECU. I am running the e-manage and E-01 combo on mine.
