what type of ecu is this??

I got a free ecu from a friend. it's been sitting at his house for a couple years they said about 8-10 years. the got it by accident and never had any use for it so I got it for free. well at first I thought it was a eprom ecu but after alot of looking and searchs I doubt now. but I have no clue as to what this goes to and from all the ecus mitsubishi makes that I've seen it doesn't make sense to me. on the cover it has the mitsubishi logo. and a white and blue sticker the numbers on the ecu are

I searched and the pin out doesn't match any eclipse ecu from what I saw it looks like a ford probe ecu but why would it have mitsubishi logos all over it and even on the chips inside theres mitsubishi all over it. if anybody knows what it is please tell me thanks.

I took the ecu over to my friends house who knows alot more about dsm's then me, and he's a little weirded out about the ecu it's an actual ford probe ecu. the thing is it was made by mitsubishi. it has mitsubishi logos all over the chips inside and the shell of it. my question is wtf was mitsubishi thinking and what other parts if any has anyone else seen mitsubishi make parts for ford.

Mitsubishi is the slut of the Car Industry, they make parts for everything.

amen to that. My buddy was proud of his subaru until he found out it had some mitsubishi parts in the engine bay

Mitsubishi made the ecu and all electronics on the 95- probe gt. Im not sure about the se, but the gt had electronics problems in 93-94 so they had to make a change. I guess mitsu gave mazda the best contract bid.
