I'm using a 6 bolt block with a 2g head (1g intake manifold/TB).

Has anyone done the swap? I have a few questions...

The Magnus site says "On a 95-96 car with stock 2g head, Swap plugs 1 and 4 with 2 and 3 (order is not important)" I'm assuming this means spark plug wires, but I'm wondering if it's injector wires too?

Also, since I'm keeping the 2g head, is there any reason I can't/shouldn't use the 2g coil pack and CAS?

You can't go directly to the Magnus site, but it's archived here:

swap the spark plug wires. use 2g coil packs. you must use a 1g cas.
It might not be a good idea to use a 1g intake mani on a 2g head unless the head is ported to the same size as the manifold.

How's this ;)

That's the 1g gasket. I used a rotary rasp to get the meat off (didn't have/couldn't buy a carbide bit). I did it in 3 "stages". First making a big deep cut at around 40 degrees, then a second steeper cut, then a 3rd - each getting progressively smaller. Then I used an aluminum oxide bit (went through two of them) to smooth out the angles between the cuts. Took about 6 hours or more of nonstop work.

I think I wrote the post after sitting in carb cleaner fumes for a few hours, so I was a little out of it. I got the CAS all wired up (duh, of course I have to use it) and I'm going to use the 2g coil packs but I need the 1g mount. to make the manifold work. I shined the manifold up too, but I'm putting together a website that shows all the deatails. I'll post when it's together.
