I just did my first rebuild, I will be ready to start it up today. I have 550cc injectors, just wondering how much I need to turn down the fuel on my safc? also any advice would be great. I am nervous about starting it up.

do you have a diff fuel pump and/ or a afpr? I cant tell you what to put the AFC to, but if you have a diff pump etc you would want to check your fuel pressure before starting up. Also make sure you crank the engine a few times to get oil pressure built up and prime the oil pump before you actually try to start it.

all we did was disconnect the injector harness so it would crank over. What all did you rebuild/ replace on it?

I have a walboro 190, no fpr. How do i prime the oil pump? Can i just pulll the mpi fuse to turn the engine over to build pressure? thanks

As a baseline you are looking for about -18 on the SAFC, provided you have a 5-speed and not an automatic. Remember: this is just a baseline correction and will need to be adjusted based on your vehicle.

-18 For Low, Mid, And High, Thanks

Just for future reference the equation used is

(stock injector size/new injector size) - 1 = SAFC-II compensation value

I think you are confused with the Low/Mid/High. The SAFC-II only allows for 2 fuel maps, Low and High. This is the section where you set your trigger points. Usually 30% for Low and 80% for the high trigger point. The Low/Mid/High are the ECU's fuel trims. What you want to do is set your trigger points and all of your Ne points first. Then set your low trottle corrections at -18% at every one of your selected Ne Points. Also do this with the Hi throttle table. Then you need to address your fuel trims. If you need help with that part let me know. :thumb:
