Im trying to hit low13's/high 12's with stock 14B turbo/injectors. Would i be better off with a walbro 190lph or 255lph pump? and how much max boost can i run daily & track with these pumps?

I use the 190 and no problems so far. But I haven't gone to more than 18psi. You might as well get the 255 if you plan on high boost in the future.

Get the bigger one.
So you will do it once.
I have my on the car for a while now.
Just got the plug N play fuel regulator from spoolinup.

I wuold get a AFPR if you going the the 255.

that is coreect. I have the same one and very happy with it. Quality is great and looks good too.

wait a minute, wait a minute_ i thought AFPR is only supposed to raise pressure NOT lower it?! somebody pleaze explain more

OK, say i dissed the 190 and got a 255 instead. How much boost should i run daily without running too rich?

..im also considering getting an AFPR to go with it also, so what should be my configurations?

My Fuel Experience:

I was running the Walbro 255HP fuel pump, and ND 660 Injectors. My base fuel pressure with the hose off was 46 psi. I had a heck pf a time tuning this setup with my SAFC. I had no problems when using this fuel pump with stock injectors, but with the 660's tuning was quite fun. :) Take a look at your stock FPR. It was not made to handle such a large amount of fuel needed in bigger turbo setups.

I installed the Aeromotive AFPR, and set my base fuel pressure to 37 psi. This setup is much easier to tune and can not wait to see what this setup will do on the dyno next month.

As long as i WON'T run soo damn RICH and get = or < 200mpg on 255lph fuel pump then ill take it. If not then ill consider the 190lph.
SAFC would probably be on not until by spring or summer '03

I run a rewired 190 pump along with a big 16g, full exhaust, etc. and can run 21-24 psi no problem.

On the mileage note....I don't think there are too many of us that run higher fuel systems (flow and/or pressure) and still get 200+ miles per tank. I run 50psi because my car sux and I get about 160-180 miles per tank. There was a thread a long time ago about what mileage people were getting. Take a look for it, it might help some.

I run 43psi on a SUpra pump with 650s and get 22MPG on average. All highay gets me 26-28MPG. If I get on it a lot my mileage is 16-20MPG, depending on how much of a flogging I give the car.

Like I said, my car sux. I seem to get about 13-15 average. 18 highway and about 10-12 city. But I drive like a maniac, always on boost, in bumper to bumper traffic, and I'm stuck with 91oct crappola. I know my mod line has shot me in the foot some. Anyway, my point is that my car is not a norm, but if you have mileage concerns, there was a whoel string on it earlier.

Why are you stuck with 91 octane do they not sell 93 in your area? And responding to the first question, Im a newbie but i was thinking couldnt you get a fuel pressure regulator and a 255lh pump so if you do decide to run high boost you can just bump up the fuel pressure, but keep the pressure lower for normal driving.
