Today, I just started having this wierd problem. While I am driving, the car will just start running like crap and I will look at the afc and it will show no air, then I will be driving for a few miles and it will kick back in and show air again? Is there any way to check the wiring with a multimeter? Is there a certain voltage the mas should be at with 0 air and maybe a certain voltage with 50 kar? The reason is, I am wondering if it is my wiring or the afc? I allready swapped mas with a friend of mine and it didnt fix the problem, it is intermitent.

what HG are you pulling at idle on your boost gauge? air in karman is what your checkin i used to over run my 1g maf back in the day and it would read nothing

Yea, I may have to start chasing wires down again. This car is a wiring nightmare. It is an intermitent problem but it is a problem more often than not. It drives like shit 75% of the time and then sometimes it drives fine. I had problems with a bad ground on the tps, could I have friend the ecu or afc? How could I tell? This problem is sometimes. It is weird that sometiems it just doesnt see air.

I took a multimeter to my mas wire before the afc and got 6 volts with the car off. I turned the car on and got the same, what do you think?"
