swapping out 1.8L sohc for the 4g63 n/t
my ride is a '94 Talon .2.0 DOHC eng is out a '90 laser w/ 66,000 org miles.
will eng harness from 92-94 4g63 work for me without the hassel of using spaghetti harness from '90 model? Is '90 4g63 compatible with 92-94 harness as far as hooking up sensors? Engine mounts up perfect to org trans from 1.8......help

Here are the differences in the harness (as far I remember):
Cam angle sensor plug
Cruise control plug
Idle control motor plug
Power transistor plug
Coil plug

Now, 90 has some differences in ECU pinouts, but to use 90 engine with a 91&up harness and ECU, you need to get 91&up CAS, Throttle body, power transistor and coil. The rest is a direct fit.

thanks, that's exactly what i needed to know.
I've got a take out '93 4g63t with a blown bottom end but all the intake components are still attached..this swap looks to be fairly straight foward and easy with just alittle patience.
