Actually, I think you may be on to something... What happened was, when I first had the new turbo installed I knew that it would be flowing a lot more air so I adjusted the SAFC to add a lot of fuel all of the way down the line as a starting point. The last log I posted in the other thread was using the SAFC settings with lots of extra fuel...I did start to see some knock starting at the end of the run (it just didn't show up as a decrease in timing because I was at the end of the run)...
Because I generally wasn't seeing knock during driving for a few days...I took out some fuel...only adding 5% at about 4000 rpms up to a max of about 10% at about 6000 rpms. But when I tried to take my first log....I was seeing knock starting at a lower rpm...
I guess that I will just add more fuel starting at 4000 rpm and add progressively more up to >7000 rpms...and see if that takes care of it.... I guess it just seems funny having to ADD fuel...when with the Big28 I was taking out 15% in really cold weather and was still taking out 5% in the warmest weather... (Note: I have Keydiver chip to compenstate for 650cc injectors...so when I"m adding fuel...it's on top of a slightly rich setting to begin with)...
Thanks for pointing that out though...
