normal practice would be to research before buying, at least that's what makes sense to me.

but yea it's good and easy to use. i don't have it, but i've played with it before.

I guess this is sorta off topic, but it looks like you have a 95, so you have an eprom ecu. I was wondering why you didnt go with dsmlink as it is only $100 more?

unfortunatly my ecu wasnt eprom. so thats why i didnt get the dsm link and itll be extra for the e. ecu and ill have to shipp it to them to get it socket and the other thing is i dont have a laptop and i dont want to shop for one. there is just to much hassel with the dsm link. and i need fuel and timming control fast, so the ecu plus control timming and fuel plus plug and play. so thats why i got it. and one more thing dsm link is actually about $200 more + laptop + eprom. lets just say every thing will be atleast a grand.i will rather get something else with the other $500. oh yea look here is the comparisment and features http://ecuplus.com/compare.htm

If you shop around you can get dsmlink for under $520 but your right you then need the eprom & laptop (actually I believe they have software for the palm as well). I just purchased my dsmlink about a month ago and I looked at the ecu+ as well. From what I could tell it does look like a great upgrade over the safc/logger combo. The one thing I didnt like about it is you cant log fuel trims with it & you are not able to read/log knock with the current version. What made me change my mind to dsmlink was that the plug & play version of the ecu+ was $560 and is still a piggyback system. Plus I already had a laptop, so it made sense for me to spend about $200 more on the eprom ecu and have all the benefits/additional features (which are not listed in the comparison list on the ecu+ page) of dsmlink.

When I first looked into getting the ecu+ it looked to be a nice upgrade over the safc/logger, I played with the software & it seemed easy to use & they seem to have good supports on their forums. I think you should be happy with your purcahse

I'm gonna go this route as well. I don't have an EPROM ECU (if anyone has a dead one they want to part with, PM me), and I'm installing a computer in the car to replace my stereo and logger anyway. I figure ECU+ is my best bet.
