When is a datalogger necessary?

Is one needed if you're running competlety stock?

How about my set-up?

1g auto trans -- 390cc injectors, 13g turbo
12 lbs boost w/spikes up to 13 lbs
(stock boost on a/t 1g is 10 lbs)
boost gauge
2.5" dp, test pipe
8.5:1 pistons
K+N, no airbox
o2 sensor works
turbo solenoid valve that limits boost when knock is detected is in use

If the answer is yes, why would I benefit?

You can always benefit from knowing what your car is doing.

The Pocketlogger was my first and best mod so far

Everyone could use a pocketlogger with a tuning device like an AFC.

You would benefit becuase you could finetune your car.

I think it would be better for you to do other mods first though they would yeild more power.
Like get rid of the 13g
