1. should i rewire the walboro 255 lph

2. and i keep getting a serial port error in my log for my car, it wont even start up the program it jsut says "serial: port in use (ser 0307)" so i dont know what that means, ive tried 2 cables, and made one myself, i have a m130 and a hotsync cable to go along with it one end connects to the palm and the other is a female DB9 connector, also do u think it might be the software, im using mmcd so i dont know it that would help

3. do u think i should clip my evo III 16G or just leave it, with my 14B i have no top end power but with the 16g i dont want to wait forever for spool up

1. Do the rewire, why go halfway?

2. I had the same trouble. i bought the Scanmaster from www.fullthrottlespeed.com. It allows me to see timing, knock, 02's, all thelogger would give me but in rel time with the capability to log with the mmcd software that comes with it.

3. Do not clip it. It spools very quick. I have not seen a shop offer clipping of the EVO. You are talking about the EVO III 16G correct? That's the 16G to get. Mark

the scan master looks really cool, but cost is kindof a concern does anyone know of other sofware that might work with the palm or is it my palm itself?

i thought i read that rewireing the 255 was overdoing it? thats y i asked, i have all the parts to rewire, i just didnt want to over do it, jsut some last minute checks
