What exactly does it do? does it replace the ecu? Is it better then the SAFC? The emanage is resonably priced and i have a labtop. Is it kinda like a cheap version of DSMlink? please give me some feedback or info, i'm looking to purchase a SAFC soon and if this can datalog and do the same thing the safc can then i might get it. Thanks for the info.

its close to a safc. They both adjust fuel by telling the ecu its seeing less airflow. If you get the timing harness you can adjust timing on the emanage. The emanage doesnt replace your ecu its just a piggyback. Also if you get the support tool for the emanage you get to tune off of a 16x16 map which is nice.

Ok now my next question is, is it a plug and play or do you have to splice a bunch of wires?

It is a very similar install to an AFC. Quite easy, and there is a write-up on how to install it on a 1G, which may help you out.
