afc question

if i disconect the battery, will i loose my afc settings? im afraid to take off my batttery, because i dont want to go though with all that fine tuning again. thanks

I'm almost positive the afc has an internal battery to keep the settings. Just grab a peice of paper and write the settings down and disconnect the battery. When I put my used afc in my car, it retained all the settings that were used on the other car.

SAFC will not lose settings unless you select the initialize feature... Disconnecting the battery has absolutely not affect.
