Quick Tunning Help W/ AFC II

I have a '95 GST with big 16g, stock injectors, SAFC II ect, I go my car tunned months and months ago. Bow I have a GReddy front mount, and downpipe since tunning. Whenever I try to accelerate hard its almost like the fuel cuts out and almost backfires. I have talked to people that have worked on my car in the past and said its a "tunning issue."

So should I set all my settings on the AFC in low and high throttle at 0's all across? And see if that will help? When I check out my settings (which i never touch) the "bars" fluxuate up and down in the rpm's. WHat should I do, i dont have the money to retune right now.
 
Set everything back to zero. Just keep the boost down, less than 14lbs, and the ecu will control eveything just fine. Who worked/tuned your car for you?

Do you have an AFPR for your 255 pump?
 
I live in Jersey so a good shop is called Turbotrix. They installed and tunned the SAFCII. It looked like a very shady operation...but anyway. Heres whats important, my last dyno before the downpipe and the greddy front mount was 242HP 250TQ. Should I have gotten it retunned after the front mount?... Ultimatly wouldnt the settings be off on the AFC with the new front mount? Should i just zero it all out, but wouldnt that mean Im loosing power?

It must have, if they are charging you to tune stock injectors. I'll give them the benifit of the doubt and say what ever they did, the FMIC and DP threw it off. Place your settings at 0%. What's more important, your car running right, or an old dyno claim from an appearant "shady opperation?" Do you have an AFPR?
 
I dont have AFPR, I guess i should get mysel one of those, or 550's or something. One more question, i alrready zero'd the low throttle to zero. should i do the same on high throttle?
 
Yes, 0% on the highs too. When you get the AFPR in there (43psi@idle/hose off) your car will run better. Do that ASAP, then do the 550's, and tune away. :thumb:
