I have 510s in my car w/the other mods listed in my sig. I'm upgrading to a ported and clipped 18G. Are my 510s gonna be alright? Whats the biggest you can push out of the injectors? Thanks-

I would stick with the 510s, get yourself a logger and tune. If you find the injectors maxing out on pump gas, get an AFPR and bump the fuel pressure a little. If it still doesnt work, then get some bigger injectors. 450s is possible for low 12s on race gas, 510s should go more.

Alright the logger is getting ordered in a couple days. I only run 94oct. JW what would you recommend for a AFPR and whats a decent pressure setting? Thanks for the help-

I use Spoolin Up AFPR. As for base fuel pressure, it's up to your tuning so I cannot give you specific fuel pressure. However, I can tell you the stock fuel pressure is 36psi on 1g and the injectors are rated at 43psi. So after some tuning with the logger, look at your injectors pulse width. If it go above 85% DC, you can bump the fuel pressure 3-5psi, lean thing down a little and tune again. 510s should have dead time similar/almost similar to 450s so I think going at slightly higher DC should still work fine.

Also, although bumping the base fuel pressure make the injectors *act* bigger. There is a limit to how much pressure you can run before it fail. Personally, I wont bump the base fuel pressure above 55psi.

Hey JW, there is a post above about a AFPR setup you can make- is it worth it or..?

If money is not the problem, I think those are nice units.
I got my AFPR for $135 or something and it's a direct bolt on to the rail.

550's are good for low 12's high 11's. my friends car went 12.6 with stock 450's and now fuel control at all what so ever. 550's should be good enough for your car. when you start breaking 11's i'd consider jumping to 720's. they are only 8% more fuel than 660's and arent that hard to tune. the more fuel you have the merrier your car will be. i have 720's and have no problem running them. Then again i have a full standalone engine management system.

hey, i have a 93 eclipse GS 2.0 with a few simple mods (injen intake, pacesetter header, test pipe and pacesetter catback, 3 angle valve job, mildly milled head.) i finally decided its time to upgrade my injectors. i went from stock 240cc injectors from 450cc injectors from a turbo 5spd. DSM. i will also be upgrading to a fuel pump from a turbo DSM, now i was told that this will make my car run rich, any opinions on if it will be ok? should i get an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator? also, if the 450cc injectors are too big, i can put in injectors from a AT turbo DSM, which are 390cc..

thanx
