i don't have much faith in the walbro fuel pumps because the one in my truck only lasted 3 years the one in my turbo honda over heats if you have less then 1/4 of a tank and well road race engineering lost a 4g63 to one in the evo shoot out in sport compact mag so what other pumps are there out there. i am not going to go over 400 hp or anything this is just a basic mod car up to a evo3 16g.

thanks

Doug

do you know how much they run and are they just the stock supar pump like i can go get a any auto store

If you get a supra pump you will need a FPR. A supra pump outflows the 255hp Walbro. I would go with a walbro anyway. Everyone everywhere on everyboard uses one, and I have yet to hear of one breaking.

i have a 87 supra turbo. when i got it it had the stock fuel pump, but after modding, i upgraded to the walboro 255, it was ok. i enjoyed it while i had it, but it does go out quickly, so i went to the supra tt fuel pump, i love it to death. it holds up great, very lil if any noise, and great flow even on a low tank of gas. i am sure that the supra tt fuel pump in a dsm would be a great fuel pump for it, but be sure to get fpr otherwise it will be worst, cuz it wont have as much pressure. also if u go with the 660cc injectors with this setup, hell yea. LOL great combo. just my 2 cents

I got my VR4 180lph fuel pump used from 3si.org for $50.00 shipped. It is a Denso model 195130-0810, it is quite and works perfectly: It was an exact bolt on replacement. There are a lot of different Denso models out there -- the one you want is the one I listed above ONLY.

Hope this helps!

i've used a holley fp that was good for 700hp and it was loud as hell. had a 255hp but only had it about a year, although it didn't die on me, i sold the car it was in. i currently have a 3kgt fuel pump. 20bucks used from a guy i know, works great and no noise.

the stock pump from a stealth is weak as hell. The Supra TT /Denso pump are about the same as the Walbro 255lph HP. It's rated at 310lph but when you throw more voltage at them the Walbro end up out performing the Supra/Denso slighly.

yes but hes looking for somthing other then wal. and with what he has listed a vr4 pump will work fine for his setup, and you can get them pretty cheap. if you can find a supra tt pump then get that. its also a good pump.
