I hear many different answers to this, somebody please help!!!
Is it possible to run 550's & no AFC on a 1G with a 20g, lower honeycomb removed, 9.0 compression, running between 10-15 psi
and not run too rich at WOT or idle? I have 450's on now and I have to run 100 octane over 10 psi. I want to run 91 for obvious reasons.
I can play with the base fuel pressure and MAF screw, but will this be enough?

). He hasn't gotten a new AFC yet. He has 550s and a MAS I hacked for him. The car even passed emissions like that (Colorado style rolling test. Read: tough). But it doesn't run all that great and at some throttle points and rpms it's just wrong altogether. With an AFC it won't be perfect either because it's a 2D tuning device, but you can still get it way better than with no AFC at all. He has a 16G@19lbs daily. His car is pretty much as good as you could get without fuel control and to me it's still pretty shytty. So 550s without fuel control, as good as you can get = pretty shytty.
