New Ecu & Mass And Still Runs Bad

I have bought and installed a brand new mass and bought a rebuilt ECU that came out of a 91 AWD Eclipse, min is a 90 FWD both were manuals.
The car runs jerky and rough untill i get past 2000 RPM and get boosted high and then it screams.I unplugged the MASS and it runs a lot better but not as strong when under boost. ANY IDEAS, COULD IT BE THE AWD ECU?

the awd/fwd makes no difference for ecu's to work properly

however, i do believe that with the 91 ecu in a 90 car....... u need to change some wiring around........ or maybe that is only if you interchange certain engine parts...... i cant remember.. ack!

The 1990 and 1991-up ecus are different the Vfaqs tell you what to do. That could very well be your problem.

Yep, check into that on the VFAQ page.

When was the last time you changed your fuel filter? Might be due.
