Angry

my car keeps dying.

I have a 1997 eclipse rs and periodically it wont start or will just die in the middle of the road. I have changed the fuel pump, the relay, the wiring harness and the fuel filter. Sometimes I can hear the fuel pump kick on (then it starts) and sometimes I dont (then it wont start). If I tap on the relay or wiggle the wires, it will sometimes start. I'm thinking it might be the wires to the fuel pump. This is driving me nuts. If anyone has any idea of what it could be, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

maybe

Is it throwing a check engine light? if it is it may be the cam angle sensor. If not, then it's probably a wiring problem.

Try checking your timing. Timing might be off. I had the same problems, so what i did was I retarded it by -2 degrees on the ITC. it worked for me.
