I’m selling my 1991 Eagle Talon TSI AWD 5-speed. If any of you are looking for a project car that only needs a little care then this is what you want. I’m not trying to make a lot of money on the sale. The asking price is $4,000 shipped or the best offer anywhere in the lower 48-states. The car will come with all of the extra parts I’ve already bought that is still sitting in my garage waiting to be installed.

My plans were to turn the car into a 500whp, E85 monster with the Holset HX-35 turbo. For those of you familiar with the Holset turbo in the DSM scene, you know that they are awesome pieces of work. My plans have changed now and I'm hoping to sell the car in order to free up some bills to make things a bit more pleasant for the family.

Here is a brief rundown of the car:

Brand new driver's side window motor
TCC satin coated ported EVO3 exhaust manifold w/38mm wastegate flange
TCC black powder coated ported 1G intake manifold
Apexi turbo timer
Walbro 255-lph fuel pump
Brand new NGK BPR7ES spark plugs
Brand new triple A-pillar pod (52mm)
Custom 1G triple-vent pillar (52mm)
2G 16" wheels and tires painted gunmetal

The car is currently not running due to belts tearing about a month ago (early August). I believe it was the serpentine, accessory, and balance shaft belts. These belts can easily be replaced and the car is back on the road without issue. This is why the car is sitting in my garage.

Bad (keep in mind that the car is nearly 20-years old):
Small rust spots on rear quarter panel
Small dents on driver's side door
Small dents on flip-up headlight
Boost gauge off caliber
Front driver's side door speaker broken
Passenger motor goes up and down slow
2nd gear is notchy once engine temperatures rise
A/C needs to be recharged (switch to R134a)
Minor rust spots on rear driver side quarter panel
Small rust spots on front passenger side quarter panel
Small dings, dents and fade from normal wear and tear (original paint)
Only one windshield washer nozzle works
Two small dents in driver’s side door
Driver’s side door speaker missing
Rear camber is off
Minor rust in door jamb sensors
Rear carrier bearing needs to be fixed or resealed

I've done some weight reduction with the car as my intent was to build an all-around autocross car. I still have all of the interior stashed neatly away in my garage. This will come with the car as well. The intake manifold and exhaust manifold have not returned from TCC at the time of this thread as they will also come with the car.

For shipping, I recommend Car Shipper USA. I've dealt with them in the pass and their customer service is great and their prices are the lowest that I could find at the time. I can even give you the POC information to talk directly to the guy that helped me out.

I’m located in Sierra Vista which is about an hour and a half directly south of Tucson. I can be contacted via PM, thread post, or cell phone @ 979-224-2847. If I don't answer, please leave a voicemail or a text and I'll get back with you as soon as I possibly can.

You do know that 'ole Sierra Vista isn't that big, right? :D On Saturday, my ritual is to stay at the house and watch football all day (at least until college football is over). Without shipping, the asking price for the car along with every part I have that was going to be used for the build is $4K. The car is currently located in my tuner's/installer's shop in Tucson where she is safe and nicely tucked away. Since you're local, we can work on the price where we're both happy. :hellyeah:

hahah compared to douglas yeahh it is .. but has more than here so i try to get out when ever i can. ohh i go during the week sometimes and weekend as well, nice ritual tho haha.hmm well fact that it aint running. turn out for everything is gonna be pricey. i'd have to think about it. plus come up with cash and i dont know bout going into debt with a loan.

The car is in fact running. There is only the 1st and 2nd gear that grind a bit. I've already sourced a rebuilt tranny for a price better than I'd hoped for. Since you're in Douglas, we don't have to worry about the shipping aspect. The car is in the shop sitting safe. I don't want you to go into debt either. Give it some thought and tell me what you'd like to do to make the DSM yours. You won't be disappointed.

ima give it some real thought. i want a gst or gsx.. i got my 2g look for exactly what u got tho.. if u get it out and have it in sv let me know.

You do know that the TSI is the same as the GSX. My car is all-wheel drive and has the 4G63 engine as well. As far as the car, we can at any time make the short drive to Tucson so you can take a look at it. I'll drive. :thumb: Since the car has been safely tucked away in the shop, I've removed my automobile insurance. I don't want to pay insurance as the car is not on the road at the time although she's 100% fully functional.

nice, and yea im aware that its the same, i had a tsi awd for a while but the 2g, just died and had it sitting motorless then got rid of it =( .. haha anyways, id be down but i dont wanna make u waste the gas for nothing i just enrolled for classes at the college so im going broke.

It is all good, my friend. I would love just to spend some time with a fellow DSM'er. I do not see many of "us" around town.
