Question getting a 1990 tsi on friday but should i take it or look for a better deal.

Ok heres the thing. i found a 1990 tsi with 210k miles on it. the kid said he wants 450 for it and all it needs is a coil pack, other then that everythings find on it. from what i saw when i was looking at it, its relatively stock excpet for having a mbc, intake, and 3" turbo back exhaust. but i was wondering, do i really want to buy a car that doesnt start and hes not 100% sure that all it needs is a coil pack. but at the same time where else would i find a tsi or even a gsx for that price?? some input would be greatly appreciated on what you guys think i should do. thanks.

For $450 how could you go wrong? You can part it out for more if it's more severe than the coil.

seems so cheap its worth an attempt. Could probably always flip it for what you bought it for if you cant get it to start.
