Sean Ivey's shop is called "Ivey Tunning" not to difficult, but your right, TurboTrix is another good one as well as DogBox. I just stick with Ivey because heis local, and a very nice guy

I would not recommend Turbotrix as I know of over quite a few cases where the cars' engines or transmissions were blown up or had to be redone. My cousin's 92 Laser had a faulty clutch install by them which resulted in his 2600 being shot. I know of a Subie that after a full engine/tranny build in under 1500 miles has blown up from them. It was broken in properly also. There are plenty more horror stories to share too.
Alex at Dogbox racing in Howell has had to redo quite a few Turbotrix trannys as I've talked to him myself and have done business with him. Its worth the trip out there if you want a tune from them, but he doesn't do it in house, he tunes it somewhere else because its not big enough for a dyno in there.
Also there's Precision tuning in Brick. They specialize in Subies, and have their own in house AWD dyno. John who tunes there has been tuning DSMs and Evo's with Open ECU and DSMlink and he has it pretty down pat.

+1 on Turbotrix, I've heard the same thing. I definitely wouldn't trust them.

I also would not trust turbotrix. The one bit of work I had them do on my car was half-assed. I credit them to me being motivated to learn and mod my own car. I've been down to Dogbox's shop and they are good people. Plus, they are supporting vendors.
Also, some of us local guys are more than willing to help a brother out. Just ask.

turbotrix is not the shop to go to for tuning, they tune to what they want to tune rather then what the car can actually make.I think they don't want to have anybody show them up or you don't have the setup they want to tune. My buddy went there w/ his setup and only made 500,went to Ivey and got 680? Now Sean Ivey say's he only want to tune AEM, SO i GUESS IT DEPENDS ON WHAT YOU HAVE..??

I would definately recommend Dogbox. They built my cars motor and trans and did the tuning. They did a great job, and the prices were reasonable. I wouldnt go anywhere else.
