A Talon Tsi is a great car; I recomend the AWD. The main problem you are going to have is that they are old cars that usually have had a pretty hard life. They tend to need a lot of attention, but can be built into some vary fast, fun, and reiliable cars. DSMs take a lot of patience but it is usually well worth it.
I had a lot of fun with my 2 talons, but at 18 years old I couldn't really afford them. Keeping up with broken parts, on top of mods was killing my bank account. I also got sick of fixing it all the time. It's been 2 years, and I am now dying to get my hands on another turbo AWD car.
