Anyone know of any DSM shops or knowlegable shops in North NJ?

yea i really need to take my car to a dsm shop or someone who builds these types of cars in north nj, im having problems with my car still, i just want to take it to someone to look at, cause i cant figure it out.

dont bother going to broadway. If you want it done right, go to turbotrix or dsmmotorsports.

well the only thing that sux, is that im afraid to drive my car more then 15miles at a time, i live right next to you, im in fairlawn, is there anything close around here?, i was thinkin takin it to JL Motorsports in paterson on rt 20, the guy knows his turbo's very well, he also has a galant vr4, so im pretty sure hes not some idiot mechanic that just knows how pistons go "boom", idk if u ever seen the shop on rt20, theres always 2 rx7's that look like they run 7's in the 1/4, so im pretty sure he knows a good amount about how turbo systems work along with electrical systems and where and why the fail

Go to njdsm and pm Faze1. He's the owner of CrazEboost Racing which will soon be booming. Has been into dsm's since he bought his NEW 94 tsi awd in 95. Tell him T. sent ya. His shop is in paterson; a little hidden but its ok. Very good guy and will work good prices out for ya.

The message board was hacked over the weekend, so if you can't get in, that's probably why.

I personally recommend DSMotorsport. I've met Nate Chrisman a couple of times, he's a good guy who will go out of his way to make sure you leave a satisfied customer and he'll make sure you get what you need for what your plans are and not try to sell you the most expensive part out there just so he can earn a buck.

*EDIT* I forgot about Faze1. I've met Raul too, he's a good guy, and you have to take a look at his 1G. He popped the hood once and it looked like that scene in Pulp Fiction when John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson opened up the briefcase.

ive tried calling / e mailing and faxing both places...no reply, no response.... and its a shame i heard nothin but good things from these shops... and none have even made an attempt to atleast have a potential customer by returning my contacts....

When are you calling up DSMotorsports? You're probably better off trying to get them around 10 when they open up or early evening. They also have a message board and chatroom set up on their website if you can't get to them through a phone or fax.

believe it or not..i did try at that time..im usually at work at 7 am and set my computer at work to remind me of times to call and stuff....ill give it one more shot...
