09' NC/SC DSM/Evo/Subi Shootout

The 2009 Carolina DSM/Evo/Subi Shootout is scheduled for November 14th and 15th.

Racing will be at Fayetteville Motorsports Park on Sunday. This is a change from last years event held at Rockingham Dragway.

On Saturday, Epic Motorsports will be hosting an open house/dyno day, which will be a first for the NC/SC Shootout! Big thanks to Robbie and the Epic crew for doing this.

We would like to get an idea of how many people are going to attend, so please post up as soon as you know. Be sure to post weather you will be racing or spectating at the event. The list will be updated in this post periodically. Hope to see everyone out there.

Dyno time will be $50. Prices could be lower depending on how many people sign up. Track fee is $10 to get in and $10 to race.

I have been looking at many locations to stay while we are there. I think the Econolodge in Fayetteville is our best bet. Rooms go for under $70 a night and for all you guys with AAA/military, you can probably get a better rate. It also has bus/truck parking(for all those bringing trailers), free continental breakfast, internet, microwave, fridge, and it's pet friendly.

I would make reservations soon as it seems the area hotels are filling up on those dates.

*Note that this is just people who have confirmed on the DSM/Evo sites; it also does not include all the Subie guys. I have been informed that 25+ more Evo's have said that they were coming just from the eastern parts of NC/SC.

Robbie told me that he got word from TurboTrix that they are bringing thier shop Subie and a few more Evo/Subie's from that area.

Boost Boys Racing will be there all the way from Aberdeen, MD Baby! I am part of the pit crew for them, be sure to stop by the rig and see the Laser on Sunday at the track! 9's or bust baby! Last race of the season for us!

Cool! I'll be making a stop by the Driveshaft Shop on the way down to pick up some goodies for the Laser.

Sorry we missed dyno day but we will be there tomorrow for sure. I am excited to be able to go and put some faces with screen names. I will be with Wendy and hanging with Shawn of Boost boys and Brian and Jason Wier of WAR. I hope to see and meet alot of people tomorrow. Brad, it was nice to meet you in person today. I hope you had a good time. Many of us were bummed that Wendy wasn't able to make it, but at the same time we understand. Can't wait to see the updates on the car in the next few weeks.

Where do I start. There are so many people to thank for making this year's event so much better than last year. I have to start with a BIG thank you to Robbie and Epic Motorsports. Without you I know this event would not have been what it was. Thank you so much for hosting the Dyno day at your shop on Saturday and getting the Subie crowd to make a strong showing. I would also like to thank the guys from Force-Fed Performance for thier help and contributions as well.

Boost Boyz & Girlz Racing - Thank you Shawn for coming all the way down from Maryland for one more race. Sandra, the food was crazy delicious, as always. Can't wait to see you guys again.

STM- Coming from New York and bringing the "RICER" was a highlight I will never forget. That car is simply sick. Breaking into the 9's your first time back on the track was amazing to watch. Thank you Emery, Shawna, Corey, and all the STM crew for making the trip.

AR Fab - That Subie was amazing; some kind of monster for sure. Thanks for coming down. You guys are pretty cool and I hope you guys will come back next year.

WAR - You guys have created 2 sick 1gs. I could not believe how fast they are with full interior and everything. Glad you guys could make it down.

Mike - Thanks for coming up to our event. I'm glad it payed off with your record setting pass and win at the event. You are definitly a cool guy and I can't wait to see that 2g of yours breaking more records in 2010.

And finally I would like to thank all the racers, teams, and enthusiasts that came out for the event this year. It would not have been possible without you. This event is for you. I hope everyone had a great time and plan to come back next year. Thank you again.
