MOD 2012 Bakersfield

So who from bakersfield(or anywhere around here, anyone who takes the 99/5) is going to mod in july? So far i know of 6 people going. Were going to meet at my house since most people i know that are going live by/around me and the 99 is 2seconds away ..lets get a list going to see whos all going for sure,

You already know I'm going but I'll post it up anyways. I was seconds from pulling my car apart this week and changing everything around because of an oil leak I had on my feed line. Then I remembered "dammit" there's MOD next month.gurrrrr

I'll probably have to wait til next year. I'm still looking for couplers and tranny fluid. I just want to make sure my car is in good running order before a long trip.

Steve that the best way to test drive a car..long trip haha..what size couplers, might have some laying around, lmk

RRE said the pipes are 2 1/4 so, something that fits that. I have the RRE J pipe and Lower pipe. Actually true a long trip would be a test but I don't want to get stranded either.

no reason to be scared of being stranded if the motor was built right...
come by and well check see if i have extra couplers that size

Yeah I did but, they don't carry it. I found it at Pep Boys on F street. All I need now is two couplers for the J pipe to connect to the lower pipe and to connect to my side mount intercooler.

Wth I just boight some last month. Yellow bottle at the one on Rosedale. Weird. Did ya check with Marc for the couplers?

If Anything hack your stock piping to make temporary couplers till you can get some good ones.

That's what I might have to do. I also have to take the weight off the shift bracket to fit the piping.

All i got is 3' couplers and there 90°…wont work with ## set up

It's cool I guess I have to cut the stock hose. I didn't want to but, no choice. I want to drive the car already so this Friday I think I'm ready. I try finding the Pennzoil syncromesh and finally found it at Pep Boys on F street. I tried to look for it at AutoZone but, they told me they don't sell it even O'reilly auto parts didn't carry it.

They are dumb. I jave friends that work there and they are the ones who called me when they got it in.

Ay marcos. When ya gonna bring the plug wires buy. Gotta find out whats causin the misfire.

plan for july 14..MOD2012
we meeting up at my house at 440am(for those who havent told us if your going, PM me if you dont know where i live), and leavin my house no later than 510am.. jumping on the 99 south/5 and gonna meet up with some people from island empire at the chevron in roxford which is located on 12881 Encinitas Ave
Sylmar, CA 91342(depending on how many people from up there wanna meet) if no, we can still stop and fuel up or stretch, then heading straight to MOD....
