hello fellow socal'ers!

is it possible to get a car registered and plated if, say, if i cant drive it there? i need to get this done before the time frame and not pay late fees. just signed title over on tuesday. only have 30 days i think. its from mo. any way around this? exhaust mani is shot so im gettin another in about a week. then i have to snap it all together and do it i guess. hope no more bolts break on me.
 
Only way I know of is having a home of record somewhere else. Being in the military I was able to register my car in Alabama (no emissions LOL all through the mail and on the phone.
 
yeah im from indiana, and it was hard to redo car from hawaii (which was indiana car before i had to change it) so i will try it again. i know someone that works at dmv these days.
