Saturday California Speedway

Ok, We are meeting at Carls Jr at 5:30am for California speedway. gates open at 6am and tech at 7am. First 400 cars only. Its going to be packed since the following weekend is the Pacific Street Car Challenge. Take the 10 freeway to Cherry, go north ( if going East, make a left, if going west a right ). Its on your left hand side next to the gas station, cant miss it.

We have a good number of DSM's and Evo's going so lets represent out there.

ok, Replying to all in order.

eclipsegsx1736: Do your best, its going to be packed. We have a group of about 20 that are supposed to show, we will have a pop up tent ( more are welcome ) Ice coolers and a BBQ ( also, more welcome ). I am bringing tools just incase we need them.

DSMSpyder99: DOnt have much of a choice, its 5:30am or bust, they open gates at 6am and pretty much start tech. The 400 spots fill up fast. With Pacific Street Car and IDRC coming up in Nov, you need to show early to get in.

silvah_gsx: I plan on going in when the gates open up at 6am.

CPHunter: If a 1g battery tie down will work, I will let you borrow the one off my 1g.

Damn I just found out I can't run tomorrow. I'll go, but because I'm 17 I can't go w/o a minor's release...hard to get since my parents are nowhere near here right now.

If anyone fails to get in with the group or shows up to watch. They can find our camp by looing for the WESTECH Tent. It should be there unless its windy.

Whew, what a day. The ACT 2600 was installed at about 3 PM today. I then had to hurry home and work on the car, and I barely had time to learn the clutch. I did a few launches (didn't have to break this clutch in) and I'm somewhat ready for the track. Didn't get to doing a boost leak test, but there's always next month's event too. Damn, I did a sick 4 wheel burnout by accident, I found out I can't floor it off the line or else it just practically sits there spinning. The track should have more grip, though.
