Glendale

So my buddy Noel has been pulled twice in Glendale and both times told to pop his hood. The second time, he had the smog ref paperwork, so the cop couldn't say anything. He told me that he has a buddy with a Talon that got hassled in Glendale for modified exhaust.

Anybody else know anything about Glendale cracking down on dsms? I'm about to get mine out of the shop and because it's close to my home, I drive there a lot, so i'm wondering what's up? I'm getting a little worried about driving there now..

I am sure you dont drive like a goon. Not saying that they do but if your in high RPM's from stop light to stop light then you will get hassled. I go through the LA area all the time and nothing so far. (knock on wood)

True, but Noel drives like a grandma.. of course, he does have that crazy mangled front plate, which is why he was pulled to begin with..

i do know they have a couple tuner shops,and i think the people bi*** so much to the cops that they started getting ruff on them. Glendale has been know for a peaceful hood,and when you hear a rice can,not saying non of these guys do but you know stereo types they just pull you over

I just got off the phone with a hommie that is a tech at Glendale mitsu and he told me that the dealer has been selling Bushur racing kits and that three Evo customers that bought kits there have recived fix it tickets form the local PD.

Glendale mitsu has discontinued this service and has been instructed by the corperation to not warrenty power train issues with modified Evos!!

Ive heard this before....somewhere

If that's true, then it's pretty sad. Glendale Mitsu service was the only dealer i've ever felt comfortable dealing with.
